Just wanted to let you know

I have been chosen to take part in One & Other – Antony Gormley's extraordinary live monument on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. My name has been selected at random from the many thousands who entered the draw – I am one of just 2,400 people who will each take their place on the plinth for an hour, to create a living monument in a place that's usually home to commemorative statues!

My slot is 0900-1000 on Tue 18 August 2009.

I intend to play solo saxophone for an hour

Comment by Jane King on July 14, 2009 at 3:26pm: That is soooo coool - the girl from Leigh, Lancs, will be sitting in Perth Western Australia watching a guy from Bradford, standing on a plinth in Trafalgar Square, play happy birthday to me, .... the world is a small place is it not! i will have to make sure I get the time difference right.... I think we are +7 or +8 GMT so that's 4pm - 5pm - perfect! will just have cracked the first bottle of bubbly!!!
