what will the museum of the future be like?

Social Media Exchange for the Cultural and Heritage Sectors

The date is almost here for sounddelivery's Social Media Exchange for the Cultural and Hertiage Sectors and we still have a very limited number of places left! It will take place this Monday, June 1st and it will give you the opportunity to improve your social media knowhow.

Social networking, blogging, podcasting and the plethora of social media applications create great opportunities within the Cultural and Heritage sectors. They're cost-effective, quick to get going and have the potential to reach and engage new audiences. But how can you apply them in your own organisations?

The Social Media Exchange is an exciting one day practical training event primarily aimed at staff working in museums, galleries, libraries, archives and heritage organisations - howe. The day includes bitesize peer-led masterclasses, practical social media surgeries and collaboration.

We'll be hosting all of the content on the Social Media Exchange website afterwards, including all of the speakers presentations, which will be shown on Slide Show. All delegates will be encouraged to tweet during the day, which you can follow by looking up our hashtag - #smex09
