Hello Nigel and welcome to our site. I do hope you find our network valuable! Sounds like you have quite an interesting position at UQ! Please feel free to post about your research! BTW how did you find us?
hi ya - I head of the site through Dr Jan Paacker, the Senior Research Fellow I work with. Jan has published a number of articles in Curator, our main focus is on psychological benefits of musuem visits and restoration - both themes I have carried over into my own work in cathedral's and religious sites (based in the UK at Canterbury).
We are actually running a workshop on visitor studies in a couple of weeks with Lynn Dierking and John Falk as key speakers. Most of our own resaerch will also be presented.
