Bio:
MA (Hons) in Scottish Ethnology & English Language, University of Edinburgh. MA in Museum Studies, University of Leicester. Certificate in Contemporary Science, Open University. Interned with National Museum Wales and the Smithsonian Institution's Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. Most recently working at National Museums Scotland as Audience Research Officer. Previously worked as freelance museum consultant, specialising in evaluation with areas of expertise including survey and questionnaire design. Former Chair of the Visitor Studies Group & currently on the Board of ICOM's Committee for Education & Cultural Action. Founder of Museum140 (www.museum140.com) - home to some exciting, collaborative museum-related social media projects.

Current Projects:
Since leaving National Museums Scotland I've been spending more time on Museum140. Our current project is called 'Adopt-a-Museum' and aims to put some of the unsung heroes of the museum world in to the spotlight.
