Dear Elaine:

I am an Argentinean researcher working in the media lab, university of art and design, Finland. I have been working for sometime in museums.
I am eager to cooperate with you and help in your project, in case I can.
I have one article that I published in the CMD (Centro Metropolitano de diseño) magazine IF. This one is translated in English. It is about the new tendencies in museums towards participation.
I might have other texts, both in Spanish and English, but they do not have straight translations.
I am now preparing an article for a magazine that comes in 3 languages: Spanish, English and catalonian. They have lots of materials in the three languages. http://www.mnactec.cat/castellano/informatiu_sistema.htm
By the way, I travel to Argentina every year.
My mail is msalgado@taik.fi
Contact me and I send you the article.
yours,
mariana

Hi Elaine, I just stumbled on your suggestions for unconference sessions at MW 2009 for the first time, re training curators and org structure. These are 2 things I am spending most time on at the moment. Tho' at the conference I didn't hear either topic addressed or discussed - was I in the wrong sessions?!

Hi Elaine. I sent you an email at egurian@egurian.com, asking for your comment on my interpretation of 'institutional trauma' for my MA thesis. Would you have the chance to answer to a remote email from Portugal?? I'm an optimist, so I'll believe you will be able to answer it sooner or later! :-) Best to you. Vania.

In your posts you mentioned that you would be happy to provide a copy of your paper on Museum as a soup kitchen .. is it posted online? I saw the press reports of your speech at the Powerhouse Museum, but have not been able to track the paper as a whole. My email is sgibsonrwp@gmail.com if it is something you are able to provide. Thanks
