what will the museum of the future be like?

‘The Home Front Australia: The German Australian Community in World War One’ 2014 virtual exhibtion

The Migration Heritage Centre: Powerhouse Museum is planning to harness all of its virtual collection to host a virtual exhibition ‘The Home Front Australia: The German Australian Community in World War One’ that will present objects from all over the world that are significant to the experience of the German Australian Community in World War One. The exhibition will tell the story German Australia in the 19th century, persecution during and after the Great War and the community's resurgence after the 1950s.

See our current exhibition The Enemy at Home that is partnered with the Historic Houses Trust of NSW that is a forerunner to 2014. I will keep the group posted as we get nearer to 2014.
