Angelina, the very existence of Museum3 is consequential, as is the calibre of questions and responses found at that site. There may be other relevant places, elsewhere, but Museum3 is a site to visit regularly for professional input, opinion, and concepts, as well as further thinking.

I am grateful to Museum3 for accepting me as a member. My goal is to make a museum of science and technology were there are none, that is here in Queretaro. As it is in Mexico I can but learn from you by reading your discutions. I have not succeeded in my goal as institutions I have visited here are not interested. At present I visit schools with my models and tell kids about the universe, biology and show them how to draw, another practice in crisis. As small as my "museum" is, it is a big thing to hear kids say "thank you".

In a global connected world it becomes extremely useful for professionals to have specific networks where to discuss and share experiences, problems, (and solutions!). Museum3 is one of the few for museum people. Belonging to it helps me not just to broaden my network but to enrich my professional background and be updated.

The existence of discussion groups inside Museums3 suchs as "Museums and Social media" or "Museum audience research" are of great value

As a Graduate Museology student, Museum 3 helped me not only with  developing the topic of my dissertation    but with valuable data  from an International Museum community.  It's an useful an important network of professionals who inspires others.

Hi, Angelina

I am in first semester of a master of art interdisciplinary studies at the university of Texas at El Paso, TX. As I learn more about museums, I found that they are playing a leader role in the US educational system (AMA); however, I often found that curators do not have the faculty to respond as they would like to our present challenges. So this is not good. In the other hand, I believe there are great curators that are using and exploring technology, in order to bring and enhance museums exhibitions in the classroom and to the communities they serve. But that depends, in the initiative of the curators and his or her ability to overcome his or her particular challenges. About museum3.org it is an awesome virtual world, just beginning to unfold. I really can imagine, the amazing things we can learn from it. The way I have been helped by museum3.org is to exhibit some of my artworks and research projects: art and science project; university's museums research project among others, but for me is just the beginning, I will share more information as I progress in them,

Museum 3.0 is a wonderful resource and forum for sharing cultural practices and is an excellent reposity of current thinking about museums. The very existence of such a resource is a testimony to your innovative conceptual thinking. I am currently working on a project called Juluwarlu Digital Mapping Project and I shall be using the forums to extend my networks to find potential collaborators.
