Communication Tools
Dsl collection produces communication tools, including flyers, the virtual museum and the E-book on DVD, etc.. In addition to being passed out personally to a network of curators and art professionals, the dsl collection is also identifying bookstores, libraries, and art organizations that may be interested to distribute these communication items at different venues.
On Line Buzz
Dsl collection views the internet as a significant tool for reaching people all around the world. It identifies interesting and critical websites or blogs that are art-related to post information about the collection and its latest developments. These online postings also allow online visitors to comment on the dsl collection and contribute feedback by driving traffic to the website. The website has an average 500 visits a day.
Reaching Out To Students
Dsl collection aims to expose university and art students to Chinese contemporary art. Starting in 2009, the dsl collection will be offering a full Master course at Shanghai University’s School of Fine Arts, teaching students about Art Management.
Conferences
Dsl collection participates in conferences, seminars, and talks hosted by institutions or at special events. The dsl collection has participated in a seminar at Tsinghua and Shanghai Universities. In 2009 we will participate at a seminar at ARCO Madrid 2009 and also at a lecture at New York University.

Dsl collection has worked with chinese designers to create an audio e-book, an electronic interactive catalog of the dsl collection. This e-book has been sent out to important curators, museums, art institutions, University Deans, in China and all over the world.

Dsl collection new staff
Beth Evans is joining the Dsl collection team as our online public relations specialist. An American living in Beijing, Beth is an active blogger and participant in online media. Beth will manage both the English and Chinese content on DSL’s online content on blogs, social networks and more. Stay tuned for updates on new content on DSL’s Web site, including our new blog.
