Event Description
This all day workshop is geared towards all museum and independent professionals who are concerned with safely handling artworks and artifacts. This will be a hands-on workshop with discussion and demonstrations. Topics will include proper handling techniques, materials for storage, packing and general in-house transport solutions. Time will also be spent reviewing job descriptions and the profession of the art handler as well tools and equipment.
