Nominations are now open for the 2009 IMAGinE awards.

The IMAGinE awards, now in their second year, are a chance to recognise individuals and organisations that excel in the public museum and gallery sector.

14 awards across 5 categories are now open for nomination. Award categories open to organisations include:

· Awards for Collection Management
· Awards for Exhibitions
· Awards for Education and Public Engagement
· Awards for Excellence

Individual Achievement Awards are also open for both paid professionals and volunteer staff.

Remember – nominations can be self-generated, or you can nominate an organisation or individual you would like to see celebrated.

Nominations close: 5pm Friday, 28 August 2009
